Röm. kath. Pfarramt Obermillstatt

Parish church Obermillstatt - Patrocinium: St. John the Baptist The simple baroque hall church of the 17th century goes back to older buildings. It is surrounded by a cemetery and a wall. It is mentioned in documents as early as 1060/1070, and has been a parish since 1787. The mighty south tower has an onion dome, the clocks are from 1746. In the west there is an arbor on pillars. The nave has additions to the north and south that function as "transepts". The facade is articulated by delicate pilasters. Inside, the hall was originally flat-roofed and was elevated in 1935 by a lancet barrel with cross ribs on brackets.
