Seechalet

The SEECHALET offers five bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower and rain shower. In summer, you can spend balmy evenings on the sheltered and covered balcony, with plenty of space for everyone and an incomparable view of the lake and mountains.
On cooler days, take a seat at the large table in the open-plan living/dining area with panoramic window. A wood-burning stove provides additional coziness.
The entire house is equipped with underfloor heating. The bedrooms and living area all have WLAN and TV. The handcrafted furniture made from old wood and rare pieces from Austria was selected with care and great attention to detail or made by local craftsmen.

The Seechalet is located on the sunny plateau above Lake Millstatt. In an absolutely peaceful rural location, far away from the hustle and bustle, you can see the mountain panorama from the Hohe Tauern to the Karawanken.
From here you can immediately start your hike in the "Nockberge Biosphere Park". Many hiking trails, as well as the "Via Paradiso", lead not far from the house and offer you wonderful views of the gentle lake and mountain landscape. Alpine huts with fantastic views round off this hiking paradise.

Cycling is very important at Lake Millstatt: the lake circular route, the Drautal cycle path and much more offer varied tours for young and old.
The Goldeck can be seen from the house and is a sunny ski area with many possibilities, only 15 minutes away. The Katschberg offers skiing fun until after Easter and can be reached in 30 minutes.

The Kirchenwirt in Obermillstatt with regional and down-to-earth cuisine is within walking distance. The restaurant of the Naturhotel Alpenrose is in the immediate vicinity. Tasty, genuine cuisine awaits you here.
