Heimat- und Tourismusmuseum Obermillstatt

The museum shows, among other things, a noble hotel room (ca. 1884) juxtaposed with simple inn quarters. Beds, trunks, washing facilities and some overseas travel trunks etc. are on display, but also a large ironing board (1876) and various smoothing tools. Furthermore, an original oil press is exhibited, with which linseed oil was extracted from the grown flax, which in turn was processed into linen shirts. Tip: A very good regional bacon snack is available in the "Museumsstüberl" at Karin Pfeifhofer's - Mon, Wed, Fri 10 am - 6 pm
